Responsible for the sorting of accident reports and the correct allocation of codes.

Key Reponsibilities
Sort accident reports into date order and check legibility of forms.
Allocate correct codes for each accident form and undertake on a line coding of accident
reports.

Batch coded accident reports and then labelled and filed.

Undertake all coding corrections and road coding.

Read the description of each accident report and then interpret the accident and analyse the
collision type.

Check the exact location of accident and attach the correct location code to the accident
report.

Check injuries of the parties involved in the accident.

Make telephonic enquiries.

Interpret the cause of accident.

Undertake other related projects and assignments as required.

Essential Requirements

An appropriate level of secondary education.
Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (Code EB)
